Trichology

Trichology is the science of hair and a fibrous part of the head skin. It studies structure and growth phases of normal (unaltered) hair and works out theoretical and practical techniques of prophylaxis of hair diseases and methods of treatment of hair and head skin.

A specialist-trichologist works out new methods and techniques of diagnosing and hair treatment, and prescribes this or that method of treatment (drug therapy, physiotherapy and etc.)

 After the course of treatment a patient may choose an additional course of supporting procedures for achievement of a longer curative effect. 

• initial consultation, testing of a state of a fibrous part of the head skin and hair at the moment of visit, anamnesis collection;

• screening, including a general analysis of a state of hair and head skin of the patient;

• computer hair diagnostics; estimation of a bulbous organs of hair, taken from problem zones;

• prescription of a complex of procedures according to an individual scheme, which is application of medical preparation on the head skin, punctated massage and non-specific thermal action;

• recommendation on head skin care and hair care with the use of noncommercial hygienic means (shampoos, balsams, masks and etc.) according to the type of hair and head skin state;

•  conducting of procedures of TAESN   (the method of transcutaneous analgetic electric stimulator of nerves of hair follicles), which make for effective scalp muscles relaxation, strengthening of blood inflow to the head skin which at its turn promotes better perception of preparations;

• conducting of physiotherapy procedures such as massage of cervicobrachial zone, which makes for better trichotrophy and blood supply in the zone of hair follicles, relaxation of scalp muscles.
